Ipswich North State School boasts an attractive and well kept outdoor environment which is conducive to the learning and well - being of the children.

The most recent addition to our school is that of the undercover quiet games area (pictured above). This area provides children with a quiet area to play board games or work quietly. The chess club meet here weekly for a game.

Our teacher- aide, groundsman and resident artist Peter Broderick has been resposible for for painting murals on several of the walls around the school in various Australian themes.

The adventure playground is suited for students of all ages. It is built in two sections, one section for years 1 to 3, and one section for years 4 to 7.

Our undercover area is perfect to hold parade as well as an area for students to play handball or just sit and relax.
